About Me
Thad Smith came to the VCNB Financial Family eager to serve customers in Jackson, Ross and Vinton counties. His specialty is commercial lending in origination and maintenance of commercial loans. He says the people and culture at VCNB are special and that he’s happy to be part of a culture where bankers are expected to understand their customers’ needs and help them find the best solutions for their needs.
The Vinton County native holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Marietta College and a Master of Business Administration from Ohio University. Thad lives in Chillicothe with his wife and two children. His hobbies include golf, basketball officiating, youth sports coaching, and travel especially visiting national parks.
