Jackson County Banking Center Welcome Two Local Bankers
Our Jackson County Banking Center is pleased to introduce two new members of the bank family. Courtney Trent and Brandon Gilliland were both hired to be personal bankers.
Courtney is a Jackson native and Wellston High School graduate who has seven years of banking experience. She has knowledge in a number of areas including helping customers as a teller and a banker. She chose to join the Jackson County Banking Center staff because the bank encourages employees to be involved in the community. “I want to be able to do more with the community and to make a difference where I live,” she explained. “I love being a personal banker here. I love the staff and how they are eager to help and to work as a team!”
Courtney and her husband have three children. In addition to spending time with her family, Courtney enjoys singing, reading, and the outdoors. She also enjoys volunteering alongside her dad at the JAFE Food Pantry in Jackson.
Brandon is also from Jackson and is a Jackson High School graduate. He has been in banking for six years, starting as a teller before moving into the insurance arm of his previous bank. There he sold personal and life insurance policies in Ohio and surrounding states. He chose to become a VCNB personal banker because it gives him a chance to help people. “As a teller previously, it was nice to have a conversation with a customer and send them to someone who could help further. Since I am now in lending, it’s nice to be able to fully commit to any need a customer has.”
He and his wife have a 14-month old son. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors but says his greatest joy is simply spending time with his family. “I enjoy working at the bank and also with the great crew in Jackson! I decided to come aboard because I knew so many great people who also enjoy working here and because the job allows me to learn lending” he said.
Stop by Jackson County Banking Center at 471 McCarty Lane in Jackson to say hello to Courtney and Brandon and to welcome them to the bank!
