VCNB Welcomes Two New Experienced Bankers

In banking, the people you do business with make all the difference. That’s why we work hard to make sure every one of our bank locations is staffed with the best people we can find. We have new employees in Logan and McArthur that we can hardly wait for you to meet!

Welcome Jessica Bell!

Jessica Bell is our new Branch Manager in Logan. She has fourteen years of experience in the banking world and has held a number of positions starting as a teller.

What does she love about being a banker? “I love helping people and making their day better. Even if I am helping them figure out how to get their Amazon order to go through on their debit card. I want to connect with my customer and ensure they are getting the best experience they can.”

The Sugar Grove native grew up around a family business where she learned how to talk to people. “My family owned Hidden Haven Shooting and Hunting Preserve in Sugar Grove until 2015. I grew up learning how to talk to people. Depending on how many people that were in the group you could be spending hours with them.”

While work has taken her away from Logan for the last several years, she is excited to get involved in the community and is seeking volunteer opportunities.

Jessica and her husband reside in Logan with their two dogs. Her husband is a Chillicothe native and the pair enjoy exploring the region. New restaurants and a Sunday round of golf are two of their favorite things but she says you can sometimes find her fishing with her husband and dad at Lake Logan. Her favorite summer getaway spot is Amishville Campground in Geneva, Indiana as well to have a little get away.

“I am looking forward to meeting all the customers and reengaging in the Logan Community and bringing my expertise to the community.”

Welcome Nichole Pease!

Our McArthur location has welcomed Nichole Pease as a Personal Banker. The 27-year veteran banker has worn many hats in her banking career, starting as a part-time teller, before working as a customer service associate, personal banker and assistant manager. A Vinton County native Nichole began her career in Greenville before moving closer to home to Athens in 2020.

What does she enjoy about being a banker?

“I enjoy building lasting relationships with customers, listening to their unique stories, and helping them gain the knowledge and confidence to navigate their banking needs with ease,” she explained.

Nichole is a graduate of Vinton County High School who enjoys spending time outdoors and staying connected to nature. Her hobbies include creating new recipes, canning fruits and vegetables from her garden and hosting gatherings where she can share her love of grilling with family and friends.

When asked about her banking philosophies, Nichole focused on what’s most meaningful. “Every new story is an opportunity to create a meaningful memory.”

Stop by Logan and McArthur to meet these ladies and give them a chance to help you.
